Jean Disley

Jean Disley was born in August 1929 and sadly died of lung cancer and pneumonia in January of 2002.

Jean was a beautiful woman inside and out and a devoted wife to her husband Kenneth, who sadly passed away in 2009.
It was an overwhelming time for those who watched her fight her battle against cancer, and her sad loss was devastating for all who knew and loved her.

In her honour and for those who suffer and are left behind, the Jean Disley Foundation was created.

Jean Disley's Legacy

The Jean Disley Foundation was created in memory and honour of Jean Disley as her legacy for her work, courage and dedication to continue providing aid for research and support for the sufferers of Cancer, Crohn’s Disease and Colitis.

Creation of the Jean Disley Foundation

The Jean Disley foundation was created by Jonathan Disley to honour her goodwill and carry on her charity by creating a vehicle to continue to help others in the way that she did. It’s also close to his heart not only because his mother was diagnosed with cancer, but also his daughter, Molly Jo, continues to battle life threatening Crohn’s Disease and Colitis.

Jonathan feels it’s time to give back and create a vehicle to raise funding for the facilities that depend on charities for their survival and which aid sufferers by providing support and assistance as well as financial aid towards better care and ultimately alleviation of suffering to the many people affected by these ailments.
